The Internal Verifier is a key player in the centre's Quality Control System. Without their part in the centre's Assessment System, we couldn't award qualifications

See ENtOs latest advice on Internal Verification. This really clarifies the role and activity of an Internal Verifier. Use the link below to visit their site.

The V1 Role

We intend to run various sessions on line to explain and expound the IV's role against the V1 Qualification.

If there are any particular questions you want to raise against this, please contact us.

The key quality role

The role of the Internal Verifier is a key role in the Centre's Quality Control system. The regular checks carried out will ensure that the centre follows the rules, regulations and guidelines that go to make sure that the whole assessment process is conducted fairly, evenly, without favour and in an ambience of continuous improvement.

The IV Role

It is the internal verifiers role to ensure that:

  • All centre staff have had the necessary training including becoming accredited with the relevant assessor awards (A1/A2 or D32/D33)
  • Assessors are given all the necessary help and information they need to assess effectively
  • The quality of assessments is monitored on a regular basis
  • They (the IV) are available to answer queries if assessors experience difficulties.
